project management

Fundamental project management skills like planning, organizing, documentation, and technical adaptability are essential for any career, particularly in museums and cultural institutions where specialized skills reign supreme.

Project management in a team is like being the conductor of a symphony – it's about planning, organizing, and guiding a team to hit specific goals within a set time and (or) budget. (Think Exhibition Coordinator or Programming Manager!)

However, project management skills are not just for a select few in leadership or management roles—they are essential across all levels of museum staff. For an individual on a team, project management is all about being the captain of your own ship, steering your tasks and goals smoothly to the finish line. (Think Archiving Specialist or Research Assistant!)

My goal is to help cultural professionals in any mission-driven department, from curatorial to education to archiving, develop sustainable project management skills to help avoid burnout and enable them and the organization to thrive.

Say goodbye to chaos and hello to smooth sailing.
